 I usually use this page to talk about elf houses and related work.  But let me take a proud father moment.  My son received a commission from the Minneapolis St Paul Airport!  His painting is now hanging in Terminal 1

Mushrooms: Seeing Spots

 Elves houses and mushrooms just seem to go together life peas and carrots.  I favor the "amanita muscaria" for its bright red appearance and pretty spots.  Since each of my installations features at least of few mushrooms, I but my family and I have painted thousands of spots by this point.

Hard Times Call for Art (and Elf Houses)

 There's so much bad news on the television lately.  Why make art?  Why make elf houses?  Because this is the best time for art and elf houses and all types of magic and care!  Art reminds people who they are, what they wish for, why they walk the earth (purpose).  And that type of reminder is exactly what we need these days. 

Birds are Friends

Time to hang the bird houses!  Nordic mythology has lots of bird - including the ravens Hunin and Munin, who travel the world bringing news to Odin.  Perhaps my wife was thinking of Hunin and Munin when she painted these watchful birds on our bird houses.  Birds also flourish on Yggdrasil, the world tree and are protected at the top by Veorfolnir, the hawk.
